LAICA PHOTOGRAPHER ERNESTO DE QUESADA

Today we present you with the first LEICA Barnack Berek Blog Gallery of 2013.  Its content is entirely dedicated to the art of street photography and Minneapolis Leica photographer Ernesto De Quesada.  Ernesto is the Director, Development & Membership Operations of MIA, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.  He has used Leica equipment for a large part of his career.  All of today’s images were taken with a Leica M8.

  1. I like Mr. De Quesada's photography a lot. They are what you might call slices of life.

    I wonder if anyone can answer a question: I recently read the auto biography of Arthur Rubinstein. In it he often mention his manager De Quesada. Might there possibly be any connection?
